Moon and Stars

This is the moon from 3/26/2021. If the moon’s brightness didn’t wash out the stars, this composite is about what you would see. I imaged the star field on 04/06/2021 and superimposed the moon I imaged on 3/26/2021. The coordinates of the star field are the same as the Moon’s coordinates at 10:10pm UTC-4 on March 23. The orientation of the moon should be accurate to the star field behind it. Your eyes would have seen this view rotated about 110 degrees counter clockwise. I like the wide format, so I didn’t rotate and crop it.
